Migration Process using Configuration Manager

The migration of the configuration from the old system to the new system using Configuration Manager is accomplished in six seven steps and must be done in the following order:

• Step 1 – Prepare both systems
• Step 2 – Copy the configuration of the old system
• Step 3 – Identify settings that must be individually transferred
• Step 4 – Transfer the configuration into the new system
• Step 5 – Upgrade the transferred configuration
• Step 6 – Configure the individually transferred settings
• Step 7 – Perform a post-upgrade-migration system check
